Dining in Golden BC

I love eating out. It’s true. It doesn’t matter which meal, I’m keen. The glitch in our household is that my husband, whose work keeps him on the road 140 days a year, finds home-cooked more of a treat than restaurant dining. It’s not always easy to convince him to eat out -- unless it means eating out in Golden.

Goldenites are fortunate. For the small size of our town, we've got tons of incredible dining choices and all for good value. And wherever you go the atmosphere is always warm and friendly, casual and inviting.

We rotate through our favourites with some regularity – Eleven22, Whitetooth Mountain Bistro, the Wolf’s Den, The Island, The Cedar House – and that variety doesn't even include the many other popular and well-liked spots we have yet to try -- like Corks, Apistoles, The Turning Point, and of course the much touted Eagle’s Eye Restaurant, ‘North America’s most elevated dining experience.’

The main reason we have yet to try the Eagles Eye is because the Cedar House Restaurant, Golden’s other casual fine dining establishment, is just so darn perfect. It’s also close to our house.
